Job description

WE DO is a privately owned communications agency with 30 employees at its locations in Berlin (headquarters) and Hamburg. Under the motto "Sustainable Communication with Content and Attitude", we work on societal issues.
Have you successfully completed your apprenticeship or studies and are now looking for your professional entry? We are looking for a Trainee in Consulting starting October 2026 to support our team in Berlin.
As a trainee at WE DO, you will be trained to become a Junior Project Manager over 12 months and will get to know the daily life of an agency through on-the-job training – with real responsibility from the start.

Tasks

  • You will work on societal communication projects, from prevention to the energy transition, and bring events to life: digital, hybrid, and live.
  • You will independently manage sub-projects and use professional project management tools.
  • You will develop innovative concepts – with ideas for dialogue events, social media, or stakeholder communication – for clients in subject areas that truly matter: democracy, infrastructure, energy transition, education, prevention, and sustainability.
  • You will keep projects on track: you will organize meetings, coordinate approvals, and keep an eye on timings and deadlines.
  • You will coordinate external service providers, keep an eye on budgets, and work with KPIs.
  • You will support clients conceptually and organizationally, from briefing to meetings. Precisely, reliably, and proactively.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies or apprenticeship in communication, project management, business administration, social sciences, or political science.
  • Initial practical experience in an agency or comparable environment; internships count.
  • Ideally, expertise in renewable energies or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with political actors, e.g., state and local politics, ministries, federal authorities, or political foundations.
  • Structured, team-oriented working style with organizational talent and a feel for numbers.
  • Very good German language skills, good English language skills, as well as willingness to travel and a Class B driver's license.

Benefits
