Traineeship Aftersales Service Contracts

At BAS Truck Center, an official dealer of Volvo and Renault Trucks, you will learn how we provide customers with certainty regarding maintenance, repairs, and vehicle availability. You will start by supporting contract administration and grow into an independent role where you will analyze contracts, prepare calculations, and advise colleagues. Along the way, you will get to know our organization, branches, and the world of trucks and aftersales well.

You will work within Business Support, which supports our service branches in Veghel, Nijmegen, Veldhoven, and Tilburg in the areas of technology, processes, training, automation, service contracts, parts management, supplier management, and purchasing.

Your career path

You will grow from support to an independent Service Contract Coordinator for the entire contract portfolio.

Phase 1: Learning the basics
You will learn to know our organization, systems, contract types, and working methods. You will collect, check, and process contract data and support standard calculations, quotes, and changes.

Phase 2: Independent coordination
You will manage a part of the contract portfolio, monitor contract durations, mileages, and maintenance agreements, and identify deviations in usage, vehicle data, and planning. You will also support account managers and service branches with contract inquiries.

Phase 3: Analyzing and advising
You will analyze maintenance history and contract performance, think along about suitable contract structures, and advise on recalculations, extensions, and adjustments, with an eye for the commercial and financial consequences.

What will you learn?

• Collect, check, and process data for service contracts;

• Prepare standard calculations and quotes;

• Monitor contract durations, mileages, and maintenance agreements;

• Identify deviations in contract usage and vehicle data;
