We are a Berlin-based Interior Brand in the Direct-to-Consumer sector and develop our own furniture and home products. In our team, ideas, prototypes, and series products are created with the goal of creating long-lasting designs that will be used by many people in their daily lives.

To strengthen our design team, we are looking for a trainee in product design for 12 months. The traineeship is aimed at graduates from product design, industrial design or similar fields who want to learn how an idea becomes a series-ready product.

Aufgaben

What you can expect

You will be part of our product design team and work actively on the development of new interior products. You will learn the entire development process in a Direct-to-Consumer company, from the first sketch to the preparation of series production.

You will support:

• Development of new product ideas in the interior sector together with our design team

• Elaboration of concepts, sketches and 3D models

• Creation and adaptation of CAD models for prototypes and samples

• Preparation of technical drawings for manufacturers

• Building and further development of prototypes in exchange with the team

• Research on materials, constructions and manufacturing possibilities

• Evaluation of product ideas regarding feasibility, costs and market potential

You will gain insight into all the steps necessary to develop a market-ready product from an idea.

Qualifikation

What you bring

• Studies in the field of Product Design, Industrial Design or a comparable major

• Strong interest in developing physical products

• First practical experience with CAD programs

• Understanding of construction, materials and manufacturing processes

• Enjoy designing things and then putting them into practice

• Structured and reliable work style

• Motivation to learn and take responsibility

• Very good German language skills and a residence in Berlin and surrounding area
