Trailer Mechanic

Are you a technical talent who likes to work with your hands? At TIP Group in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Trailer Mechanic who keeps trailers and rolling stock in top condition. You will work in a modern workshop with a professional team that values your input.

What will you do?

As a Trailer Mechanic, you ensure that trailers always function optimally. You perform maintenance, repair parts, and solve malfunctions. You do this both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on trailers
• Solve malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform welding, brake overhauls, and bodywork
• Maintenance of air systems, lighting, and APK (MOT) parts
• Participate in the breakdown service

What do we offer you?

• Salary between €2,916 and €3,700 gross per month
• High overtime surcharges: 50% on weekdays and Saturdays until 6 PM, 100% on Saturday evenings, Sundays, and public holidays
• Choice between extra vacation days or ADV (reduction of working time) payment
• Development opportunities, such as becoming an APK inspector
• Work with modern tools

What are we looking for?

• EBAT training or comparable technical background
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Driver's license B (C and/or E is an advantage)
• Accurate and solution-oriented

Do you not have experience as a Trailer Mechanic yet? No problem! We are happy to train new colleagues on the job.
