Structural Planner (m/w/d) - Design Structures for a Sustainable Future

You want to plan structures that make cities more livable and waterways healthier?

At DAHLEM, you will develop the area of structural planning in Berlin or Darmstadt actively with – together with experienced colleagues, in an interdisciplinary environment, and on projects that offer genuine social added value. Instead of just delivering numbers, you will develop sustainable solutions for water infrastructure structures – from idea to execution.

Tasks

• Development and further development of structural planning at our location in Berlin or Darmstadt
• Development of static concepts and performance of calculations for complex engineering structures in the field of water management
• Constructive implementation and technical guidance of projects – interdisciplinary with object planners, process engineers, and TGA experts
• Counseling on constructive questions within the project team and with external specialist planners
• Application of common standards (e.g. Eurocode, DIN) as well as modern software solutions for statics, CAD, and ideally BIM
• Independent organization and prioritization of multiple projects
• Structured documentation and communication with project participants via digital channels
• Factual support for construction and drawing on site

Qualification

• Completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural planning or constructive engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in structural planning, ideally in the infrastructure sector
• Very good knowledge of static calculations and the constructive implementation of engineering structures
• Safe handling of relevant software (e.g. RSTAB, SOFiSTiK, AutoCAD, Revit); BIM experience is an advantage
• Communication skills, self-initiative, and ability to interdisciplinary cooperation
• Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking
• Interest in innovative methods and active participation in shaping new processes
