Structural Planner (m/w/d) - Water Engineering & Infrastructure

You want to plan structures that make our cities more livable and contribute to healthy waters? At DAHLEM, you will take responsibility for structural planning for water engineering structures. Whether in Berlin or Darmstadt – you will build the department with us, work interdisciplinary and actively shape projects. Tasks

• Establishment and further development of the structural planning department at one of our locations (Berlin or Darmstadt)
• Development of constructive solutions for water engineering structures from concept to execution
• Preparation of static calculations using Eurocode, DIN, and other relevant standards
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with object planners, process engineers, and TGA department planners
• Professional consulting and guidance for project participants in all planning phases
• Support for designers and draftsmen as well as professional exchange with the central expert team in Essen
• Independent processing of multiple projects including structured documentation and digital communication

Qualification

• Completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or structural planning
• At least 5 years of professional experience in structural planning for engineering structures
• Familiarity with static software (e.g. RSTAB, RFEM), CAD applications, and ideally first experiences with BIM
• Self-reliant, structured work style and high level of initiative
• Strong communication skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
