Trades Assistant/ Fleet Servicing

Job Description About the role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join our in-house Truck Workshop team based in Christchurch. This role is an evening shift working 45 hours per week Monday to Thursday 3.00 pm – 1.30 am and Friday 3.00 pm – 8.00 pm. If you’ve always wanted to gain experience or further develop your existing experience by working on diesel trucks, then this is the opportunity for you! In this role, you will be assisting qualified Tradespeople and team leaders in performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements. You will also be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, following company procedures and guidelines. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience working on diesel trucks, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of our team.
