We’re seeking an experienced and professional Waiter to join our team and provide exceptional food and beverage service to our valued guests.

2. TITLE

Position Title: Waiter
Description: Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE

This position requires a high level of proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.

4. FULL-TIME POSITION ONLY

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Jugiong, NSW.

5. OCCUPATION TASKS

Main Tasks Include:

· Sets up tables and arranges seating for customers

· Takes orders from customers for food and beverages

· Provides recommendations and suggestions to customers regarding menu items

· Clears tables and ensures the dining area is clean and presentable

· Handles customer enquiries and resolves issues or complaints

· Takes payment from customers

· Stocks and replenishes supplies and inventory as needed

· Follows health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and hygienic work environment

· Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

6. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Waiter or Food and Beverage Attendant in a dining or similar environment.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

· Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.

· Professional presentation and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.

· Understanding of hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

7. QUALIFICATIONS

• AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Service; OR
• At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
• Additional on-the-job training or relevant certifications (such as RSA) may be required.
