Trade Assistant

The Company Our client is an international plumbing company that has been operating for over 25 years. They are a market leader who specialises in commercial maintenance and has recently won new contracts in various sectors including residential, industrial, and government. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the trade staff with daily tasks, providing administrative support, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Assist trade staff with daily tasks, including but not limited to: • Preparing and maintaining accurate records of job sites, materials, and equipment; • Coordinating and scheduling jobs, including arranging for necessary permits and inspections; • Assisting in the preparation of estimates and quotes for clients; • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: • Trade Assistant or similar role with at least 2 years’ experience; • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
