Right now, we’re working with a well-known agricultural machinery dealership based in Auckland, seeking an experienced tractor mechanic to strengthen their busy service department. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or stepping up from general heavy diesel work, this is your chance to join a team that invests in its people and works with some of the best gear in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing faults on a range of tractors and ag equipment (John Deere, Case IH, New Holland and other well known brands etc.)
• Performing scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs, and fieldwork when needed
• Using factory diagnostic tools and service systems to deliver efficient, accurate work
• Collaborating with other experienced techs to keep turnaround times sharp
• Keeping records clean, clear, and in line with service protocols
• Staying on top of training and equipment updates in a constantly evolving industry

You're a Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a tractor or heavy diesel mechanic
• Hold a Level 4 trade qualification in heavy automotive or agricultural equipment
• Are confident diagnosing hydraulics, electrics, and engine systems
• Are familiar with diagnostic tools and electronic service systems
• Can handle both workshop and occasional field service work
• Have a full NZ driver’s licence (Class 1 minimum) and a positive, can-do mindset
