Social Worker

Job description

In Gijón (Asturias), a social worker is sought to attend to people with Parkinson's and their families. The functions include information, advice and guidance, processing and justification of grants, supervision of social programs and management of available services and resources. A degree or diploma in Social Work is required, knowledge of dependency law, disability and caregiver support, as well as economic benefits, pensions and home care services. Training in the development of social projects and justification of grants is also necessary. Proactivity, autonomy, organization and time management skills, and previous experience in similar positions are valued. Labor conditions offer a permanent contract, part-time of 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with salary according to the collective agreement of health establishments for hospitalization, consultation, assistance and clinical analysis.
