Job Description Tourism Tutor (Maternity Cover) Location: Wellington CBD Fixed-Term | Full-Time | NZST Wellington Campus Please note: This role is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis for maternity leave cover until 18th December 2026. Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role As a Tourism Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent training to our students across our Tourism Certificate programme. You will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum and resources to deliver a range of teaching and learning activities. This may include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing feedback and guidance, and contributing to the development of new programme materials. You will also work closely with colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team. Key responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality training sessions to students, using a range of teaching methods and resources. • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners. • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and guidance. • Contribute to the development of new programme materials and resources. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Education or a related field. • Teaching experience in a similar role or industry. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills.
