**Profile** Adecco Italia s.p.a. is looking for a **Traditional Lathe Operator** for an important multinational company operating in the rubber and plastic sector. **Role** The resource will be integrated into the Maintenance team, within the Workshop subgroup, and will be responsible for the creation, repair, modification, and reconstruction of mechanical components for production plants, primarily working on single pieces or custom-made parts and mechanical components of varying complexity (indicative dimensions between 10 cm and 1 meter). The figure will use traditional machine tools and will follow the entire work cycle, from component analysis to turning and milling operations, up to the final dimensional control. The role requires strong technical autonomy and the ability to identify the most suitable operational solutions for restoring or creating the requested parts, starting from technical drawings, worn components, or indications provided by maintenance personnel. **Skills and Professionalism** * Perform precision mechanical machining using a traditional/manual lathe. * Perform mechanical machining using a traditional/manual milling machine. * Create, modify, and restore mechanical components for the maintenance of production plants. * Reconstruct worn or damaged parts starting from technical drawings, existing components, or technical specifications. * Independently perform workpiece setup, centering, and tooling. * Independently define the most suitable machining methods for the creation of the requested part. * Perform dimensional checks and verify compliance with required dimensions and tolerances during all processing phases. * Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and equivalent tools. * Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify technical solutions for restoring plant efficiency. * Operate in compliance with quality standards, technical procedures, and company safety regulations. **Requirements** * Diploma or professional qualification in a mechanical field or equivalent. * Experience in using traditional/manual lathes equipped with a two-axis electronic display (non-CNC) and traditional/manual milling machines (non-CNC). * Experience in producing single pieces and custom-made parts. * Ability to independently perform complex mechanical machining operations. * Experience in repairing, reconstructing, and modifying mechanical components. * Excellent ability to read mechanical drawings and independently identify dimensions, tolerances, and necessary machining operations. * Experience in using main mechanical measuring instruments. * Ability to work with tolerances to the hundredth of a millimeter. * Experience gained in industrial maintenance contexts is desirable. **Required Knowledge** * In-depth knowledge of operations on traditional/manual lathes, including lathes equipped with two-axis electronic displays. * In-depth knowledge of operations on traditional/manual milling machines. * Knowledge of main mechanical machining operations such as turning, facing, threading, boring, grooving, and conical machining. * Knowledge and use of the main measuring and dimensional control instruments. * Knowledge of machining steel, stainless steel, iron, and aluminum. * Knowledge of workpiece setup, tooling, and centering techniques. **Working Hours** * Central hours. **Onboarding Method** * Direct hiring with a permanent contract, gross annual salary starting from € 30,000, commensurate with previous experience, degree of autonomy, and technical skills possessed. * CCNL Gomma Plastica (National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Rubber and Plastic), Level E - Worker. * Integration into a structured and highly specialized industrial environment. * Work environment focused on collaboration, safety, and valuing technical skills. **Work Area** * Turin North Candidates, in compliance with Legislative Decree 198/2006, Legislative Decree 215/2003, and Legislative Decree 216/2003, are invited to read the privacy policy available under the data request form on the application page (EU Regulation No. 2016/679).
