Driller - Blast Hole
Roster - 8:6, 2:1, and 2:2
Pay Rates - $70.00 - $80.00
POH - Perth, FIFO
MMFS are seeking experienced Drill Rig Operators to join our growing operations. With a strong commitment to safe, efficient drilling, our team consistently achieves 96% drilling accuracy and over 87% drill availability.
You’ll be operating a modern fleet of Sandvik Top Hammer and DTH Hammer rigs, all GPS-equipped for superior precision and operational consistency.

You’ll be operating a modern fleet of Sandvik Top Hammer and DTH Hammer rigs, all GPS-equipped for superior precision and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Sandvik Top Hammer & DTH Hammer drill rigs
- Achieve accurate, high-quality drilling results using GPS-enabled systems
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections
- Work closely with maintenance teams to minimise downtime
- Maintain drilling logs and complete operational reports
- Uphold all company safety policies and site procedures
- Previous experience operating Top Hammer or DTH rigs (Sandvik preferred)
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to best-practice operations
- Ability to interpret and use GPS drilling technology
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues
- Relevant drilling competency or ticket
- Valid driver’s licence - HR/HC desirable
- First Aid/CPR - preferred
