Tooling Engineer

Manage the Tool Room area in terms of human and material resources focused on the needs of plastic injection molds and other plant requirements in order to keep the injection molds in optimal conditions for production. Supervise the work of the Tool Room technicians, guiding and advising them on the execution of their work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with the relevant positions (production control, production-molding, quality, etc.) regarding the status of the tooling area and any issues that may arise. Ensure that all necessary documentation and records are maintained accurately and up-to-date. Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth operation of the Tool Room. Monitor and report on the performance of the Tool Room technicians, providing feedback and coaching as required. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the Tool Room area.
