We work with Keywords Studios Germany on voice recordings for video games of our international customer base. Our customers include publishers such as Zenimax, Riot Games, Bandai Namco, etc. Notable projects have included the German localization of AAA titles like The Elder Scrolls V – Skyrim, Monster Hunter Wilds, Resident Evil Village, Mafia: The Old Country, League of Legends, etc.

A voice production for computer games consists of processes such as casting, script and preparation, voice recording with direction and technology, post-processing/cutting, and delivery to the customer. Often, these steps take place simultaneously in multiple countries and languages. Dense coordination and communication with all departments and the customer are essential.

As a Tonmeister/in for voice production, you will be directly responsible for the recording equipment and ensure that your team is prepared and post-processing of recordings. Since time constraints often require parallel recordings in multiple studios, you will lead the teams according to project requirements and ensure a smooth flow of production.

• Conducting voice recordings in our five sound studios.
• Preliminary preparation of voice recordings (e.g., technical setup/testing of sessions).
• Creation and post-processing of recording sessions (cutting, conversion, data management, bug fixing).
• Quality assurance (QA) of recorded audio assets.
• Contact person for freelance recording teams
• Assistance in speaker and freelancer disposition to coordinate parallel recordings.

Requirements

• Completed training in the sound technical field or equivalent practical experience in voice production.
• Experience with Reaper and Avid Pro Tools.
• German on a native level, very good English skills in writing and speaking.
• Well-developed team player mentality and communication strength.
• Open-mindedness and curiosity towards new technologies and optimization processes.
