My client is an internationally recognised law firm with a strong and expanding presence in the TMT sector. As demand continues to grow, they are seeking a commercially astute lawyer with five or more years of post-admission experience to join their high-performing Auckland team.

Experience within the TMT sector is advantageous, particularly if gained in a top-tier or large commercial environment. However, the firm is also open to strong commercial lawyers who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the space and a desire to build subject matter expertise in emerging technologies and digital infrastructure.
This firm is widely respected for its deep sector knowledge, advising leading clients on complex, strategic projects across multiple jurisdictions. Its lawyers work closely across international offices, bringing a collaborative and integrated approach to delivering outstanding outcomes.

The TMT practice is engaged on high-value matters involving:

• Regulatory frameworks for broadband and digital infrastructure
• Global internet architecture, including subsea and satellite networks
• AI, machine learning, blockchain, smart energy and cloud technology
• Technology procurement, large-scale outsourcing and systems integration
• Commercialisation of innovation and new product development
• Data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy compliance
