For one of our clients - an international enterprise organization with a strong focus on data-driven work - we are looking for a Data Engineer with experience in the Microsoft ecosystem. You will work on building out a modern data platform in Azure, where you will shape the data streams, integrations, and transformations in a complex environment with great attention to scalability, performance, and security. * This vacancy is open to both internal employees and freelancers. Your main tasks will be: * Designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI; * Developing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Power Query; * Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and designing data solutions that meet those needs; * Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance policies and procedures; * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data processing and integration; * Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of data engineering and applying this knowledge to improve processes and solutions. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; * At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem; * Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI; * Experience with ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Power Query; * Knowledge of data governance policies and procedures; * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; * Strong communication and collaboration skills; * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
