What awaits you:

• Development of thermal and fluid dynamic architectures for mechatronic and optical components of microlithography systems

• Development of models and methods for system identification and control of thermal systems

• Elaboration and evaluation of technical concepts using 1D/3D simulations, design verification, and model validation

• Creation and coordination of technical requirements as well as relevant development documentation with internal and external stakeholders

• Ensuring manufacturability, integrability, design verification, and risk management during industrialization

• Collaboration with interdisciplinary development teams, suppliers, service providers, research institutions, and partners in the high-tech industry

• Representation of assigned system topics towards development projects and customers within an international development network

Certain professional and personal prerequisites are helpful for this position. The following requirements give you an overview of the experience and qualities that are advantageous for this role.

What you should bring:

• University degree in aerospace engineering, mechatronics, cybernetics, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics

• Sound knowledge of numerical modeling, system identification, model reduction, and control of thermal systems

• Several years of experience in thermal and thermoelastic design of components and systems

• Practical experience with CFD, Finite Element Methods, as well as ANSYS, MATLAB, and Python

• Independent, systematic way of working, as well as strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills

• Experience in interdisciplinary development environments as well as collaboration with internal and external technical partners

• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
