Job description

The Therapy Center Iris Schneider GmbH has more than 25 years of experience in the care and therapeutic support of children and adolescents.

Our range of services includes inclusion support, learning therapy, autism therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, as well as special needs education and interdisciplinary early intervention within the framework of child and youth welfare.

As an established, supra-regional provider, we operate in the Rhein-Sieg district, Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis, Oberbergischer Kreis, Rhein-Erft district, as well as in Cologne and Bonn.

The position of site manager offers you an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development – especially for dedicated autism therapists with leadership potential. In this responsible role, you can specifically contribute your professional expertise and leadership skills and actively shape the establishment and further development of our autism practice in Altenkirchen.

Responsibilities
  • You will assume overall responsibility for the site and actively shape its development – from strategic orientation and operational daily business to the leadership and further development of your team. You will always keep efficient planning and targeted resource allocation in mind.
  • In your professional leadership role, you will lead the therapeutic team with competence and commitment, ensure high quality standards, and contribute significantly to supervision.
  • You will plan and coordinate diagnostics, therapy services, and family counseling, thus ensuring smooth processes and the best possible care.
  • Close cooperation with funding bodies, doctors, schools, and other cooperation partners is also part of your area of responsibility and strengthens professional exchange.
  • Furthermore, you will actively shape personnel development: from recruiting new employees and onboarding them to continuously supporting and developing your team.
  • In addition to your management tasks, you will also be involved in therapeutic work with children and adolescents yourself and holistically support their environment – especially the families.
  • As the central point of contact, you will represent our therapy center externally and actively engage in relevant networks and expert committees.

Profile
  • You have successfully completed a degree in psychology, education, or a comparable field of study and possess in-depth knowledge of the autism spectrum and therapeutic contexts – supplemented by practical experience.
  • You combine your strong organizational skills with analytical thinking and a confident approach when dealing with employees.
  • With your communication skills, negotiation skills, and cooperative working style, you convince both within the team and in exchanges with external partners.
  • You confidently handle digital practice processes, billing systems, and applicable data protection requirements.
  • Empathy, patience, and a clear commitment to an inclusive, client-centered approach are a matter of course for you.
  • You are willing to respond flexibly to the demands of daily practice and adjust your working hours accordingly.
  • Your enthusiasm for therapeutic work – especially with children and adolescents – motivates you and shapes your daily actions.
