Copywriter / Editor (m/f/d) for Product Flyers - Remote, Mini-Job approx. 20 hrs/month

At Vernasche die Welt, we bring sweets and snacks from all over the world to our customers with our boxes. Each box includes a flyer that introduces the products it contains. This is exactly where you come in.

We are looking for someone who doesn't just summarize information, but turns it into short, interesting, and really well-written texts. For us, good texts are not a secondary topic, but an important part of the product experience.

The work is done entirely remotely as part of a mini-job with an average of approx. 20 hours per month.

Responsibilities

• Write texts for the product flyers of our country and themed boxes

• Research information about products, brands, countries of origin, and special features

• Create short, understandable, and entertaining product texts from this information

• Linguistically revise existing texts and check them for content plausibility

• Adapt texts to our target audience and our existing writing style

Qualifications

What is crucial for us is that you write in German very confidently and naturally. Spelling and grammar must be perfect, and you should have a good linguistic intuition for how to keep a text interesting, clear, and pleasant to read.

You should also:

• Have experience in editing, copywriting, journalism, content creation, or a comparable role

• Be able to research information independently, contextualize it, and reduce it to the essentials

• Be able to write creatively without texts sounding artificial or overly promotional

• Work meticulously and reliably meet agreed-upon deadlines

• Ideally have completed or be currently pursuing a degree in German Studies, Journalism, Communication Science, German Teaching, or a comparable linguistic field

A corresponding professional or academic background is welcome, but not a prerequisite. The quality of your texts remains crucial for us.
