We are looking for a Test Manager for an extensive project to further develop and migrate a system landscape at a leading financial services provider. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational test execution in accordance with regulatory, professional, and technical quality requirements.

Your tasks

• Creation of the overall test planning for program management

• Derivation of test activities, as well as functional and application-specific aspects to be tested

• Creation and maintenance of test concepts

• Creation of regular test reports

• Detailed planning of the test execution

• Resource planning for tests on a timeline

• Comparison and verification of general and existing data sets, as well as their technical availability

• Comprehensive bug management including prioritization

• Consulting on automated tests regarding definition, maintenance, and review

• Planning of test environments and corresponding workflows

• Consulting the program and stream leadership on test management activities as well as proactive identification of gaps and escalation needs

Must-have requirements

• Extensive experience with test planning in backend and frontend, particularly for JAVA applications, API-based microservices, and SAP in the banking sector (SAP CML, SAP FI, SAP CMS, and SAP Fiori)

• Experience in creating overall test planning for program management as well as resource planning for tests on a timeline

• Competence in bug management including prioritization

• Experience in consulting on automated tests as well as planning of test environments and workflows

• German language skills at the level of native speaker or C2

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience in optimizing test execution and proactive notification regarding gaps and escalation needs

Can-have requirements

• Completed IT training or equivalent practical experience with banking business knowledge

The deployment is planned from 15.06.2026 to 31.12.2026. There are 90 days of remote work and 30 days of on-site work in Frankfurt.
