Test Engineer (m/f/d) Medical Technology / Imaging & X-Ray in Darmstadt (1713)
Job description
Your Career in Testing Modern Medical Imaging Technology.
With BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you ensure and improve the quality of sophisticated imaging and X-ray systems. You analyze field problems, conduct software and system tests, and work closely with development, customer service, and support on sustainable solutions for complex technical errors.
Responsibilities
- Error Analysis: You review and prioritize customer reports and analyze field problems at the system, software, and application levels.
- Testing: You perform manual software, system, and functional tests according to specifications and identify potential quality risks through exploratory testing.
- Test Planning: You plan and implement regression and verification tests and evaluate the results achieved.
- Defect Management: You create and track bug reports, verify bug fixes, and document analyses as well as test results in Jira.
- Documentation: You review product and user documentation and prepare technical analysis results for development teams and management.
- Interface Management: You coordinate technical issues between customer service, support, and product development, and support internal contacts.
- Knowledge Transfer: You onboard new team members and foster professional exchange within the team.
Qualifications
- Qualification: Completed degree or a comparable technical education with further training as a technician in the field of computer science, medical technology, or electrical engineering.
- Experience: Practical experience in software testing, testing, quality assurance, or error analysis of complex technical systems.
- System Understanding: Good understanding of software, system, and integration contexts.
- Test Management: Experience with test and ticket management systems, ideally Jira.
- Problem Solving: Analytical and structured way of working with a pronounced ability for systematic error analysis.
- Communication: Ability to document and present technical issues comprehensibly, as well as enjoyment of interdepartmental collaboration.
- Languages: Very good German and good English skills.
