Testing Engineer – CT/PT (Current & Potential Transformers)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Testing Engineer to join our quality and testing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and inspecting Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) as per standard procedures and ensuring product quality before dispatch.

• Perform routine and type testing of CTs and PTs as per IS/IEC standards

• Maintain proper records of test results and documentation

• Ensure calibration of test equipment and adherence to safety procedures

• Coordinate with the production team for quality-related feedback

• Identify defects and report non-conformities

• Assist in preparing test reports and inspection documentation

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the testing area

• Support senior engineers in high-voltage and routine testing activities

• Basic knowledge of transformer testing principles

• Familiarity with electrical instruments like CT/PT analyzer, HV test kits, etc.

• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures
