Testing & Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Testing & Commissioning Engineer to reinforce the team in Singapore.

As an Testing & Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities would be:

Applications:

• Preparing of interventions. Gather, with the help of the project team, the necessary information to carry out the mission.
• Organization, with the help of the project manager, of the trip.
• Supervision and verification of the on-site installation.
• Responsible for testing and commissioning of the on-site installation.
• Ensure modification according to the customer's request for the on-site installation.
• Ensure troubleshooting including rectification of the on-site installation.
• Responsible for the retrofit project of the on-site installation
• Provides training for the operator and maintenance employee at the customer's site.
• Conducting short-circuit tests on request.
• Elaborate report after each intervention mentioning the purpose of the intervention, analysis and job done on-site including open points if any.
• If needed, inform the project team about modifications and errors found on site.
• Participation in the creation and updates of installation, operation, maintenance and commissioning documentation (procedures, test reports, manuals).
• Verifies and upkeep the tools and their calibration certificates.

Quality:

• Measure of internal and external customer’s satisfaction.
• Feedback and return of experience to the design team.
• Respect of the department’s work procedures and archiving.

Requirements

For this position, the ideal candidate will have/be:

• 5 years of relevant experience from a Railway background.
• Candidate should have proven experience with DC Equipment.
• Be fluent, both verbal and written in English, any other languages like French or German would be an advantage.

• Precision and quality of the intervention reports.
• Work performed within the given timeframe.
• Flexibility of planning, and ability to travel at any given time in the South East Asia.
