Test Automation Specialist (m/w/d)

Your Role

As a Tester (m/w/d) with a focus on Test Automation, you will take on a central role in ensuring the quality of software solutions in the banking sector. You will develop and optimize automated test processes, build modern test environments in the web area, and ensure together with the team that quality is no longer a coincidence.

We are currently looking to strengthen our agile team with a motivated Test Automation Specialist (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe at the earliest possible time.

Tasks

• Test automation in an agile project in the banking or financial services sector
• Supporting departments in specifying concrete test cases from an automated perspective
• Conducting and monitoring automated test runs
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Creating and maintaining a test concept (test design and test specification)
• Coordinating and monitoring the creation of test cases
• Analyzing and documenting test results
• Optimizing and conceptually further developing the test framework

Qualification

• Professional or project experience in software testing, as well as knowledge of relevant automation and testing tools (e.g. Playwright, aqua, Jira, Confluence)
• Fundamental Java knowledge and/or an ISTQB certification would be desirable
• Experience in agile software development and the banking sector is advantageous
• Technical understanding, logical thinking, and high quality awareness
