We are looking for an experienced Test and Quality Manager (m/w/d) for a project introducing a new payment software at a specialized financial institution. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and quality assurance within a complex banking environment.

Your Tasks

• Independent development of the test strategy for manual and automated tests throughout the software lifecycle

• Creation of the test roadmap including test concepts and test plans, taking into account resources and licenses

• Definition of test phases as well as coordination of test cases and acceptance criteria

• Coordination of autonomous test environment management and provision of test data

• Support in selecting and implementing frameworks for test automation and test management using Jira, DevOps or KI-based tools

• Independent monitoring of the test execution, steering of the test team, and tracking of test coverage

• Leadership of defect management as well as moderation of meetings to resolve defects

• Conducting quality gate monitoring and expressing release recommendations for software releases

• Creation of risk analyses and cost-effectiveness assessments for test automations as a decision-making basis for stakeholders

• Independent reporting and creation of test completion reports, including dashboards for project leadership

• Active interface management between project leadership, development, requirements management, and operations

• Coaching, continuous further education, and knowledge transfer within the test team

Must Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in initiating and managing tests in projects with at least 12 months' duration in the banking environment within a heterogeneous system landscape

• In-depth knowledge of the fields of payment transactions or financial accounting

• In-depth knowledge of project and process management

• Good knowledge of quality and risk management systems as well as creating project quality plans (PQP)

• Comprehensive experience in managing test activities throughout all phases (planning, design, realization, execution, documentation, and acceptance)

• Experience in test management and test environment management in complex, heterogeneous system landscapes

• Practical knowledge of test automation and handling test automation tools

• Experience in leading and steering test teams

Can Requirements

• Experience with evaluating and using KI plugins to support test processes

• Knowledge of test management software, ideally SpiraTeam

• Certification in quality or test management, preferably ISTQB®

• Knowledge in the area of information security and data protection

• Experience with introducing or operating Travic Payment Hub (PPI AG)
