Test- / Development Engineer (m/w/d) for Medical Systems in Mannheim (1107)

Your career in developing and testing innovative laboratory and PoC systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the modern Point-of-Care applications, i.e., medical systems with integrated injection unit, from development to regulatory compliant implementation in the pharmaceutical environment.

Aufgaben

• Test Development: Development of test strategies, test methods and test cases for evaluating maturity, robustness and functionality of Point-of-Care systems with injection unit throughout the entire development cycle.
• Test Environments: Control and further development of suitable test environments for PoC applications and their subsystems.
• Test Execution: Planning, execution and evaluation of verification and system tests including test design and statistical evaluation.
• Dokumentation: Creation and maintenance of the test documentation according to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Interface Work: Close coordination with development teams on test results as well as presentation and discussion of the outcomes.
• Technology Evaluation: Research on new technologies, norms and standards and examination of their applicability to current product developments and laboratory tests.

Qualification

• Qualification: Completed university degree (Diplom, Bachelor or Master) in fields such as Medical Engineering, Bio- and Pharmaceutical Technology, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Product and Industry Experience: Experience in developing medical products and design verification and test methodology.
• Method Competence: Knowledge of statistical procedures like DoE, Six Sigma or structured test design.
• Work Style: Willingness and ability to work in agile and interdisciplinary product development teams.
• Languages: Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills in writing and speaking.
