Test Engineer

HITEC Power Protection is more than 65 years the pioneer in innovative backup power solutions. Our advanced UPS systems protect business-critical processes worldwide with the power of kinetic energy storage. And now we are looking for a Test Engineer who will help us take these technologies to the next level!

Your role:

As Test Engineer, you are the expert who tests our UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) systems, both for new-build and revision projects. You work closely with Pre-production, Engineering, and Assembly departments to ensure that everything is delivered on time and with the highest quality. You ensure that our products meet quality standards and that the testing process runs smoothly.

What will you do?

• Self-testing of UPS systems for new-build and revision according to established standards and procedures.
• Coordinating with the team to ensure that the planning is achieved and timely indicating when there are risks.
• Actively contributing to a safe working environment and promoting open communication within your team.
• Working together with Pre-production, Engineering, and Assembly departments to lead everything in good order.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace – you ensure order and tidiness.
• Flexible and willing to work on other departments when needed.

Requirements

What do you bring?

• MBO 4 or HBO in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 2-4 years of experience in testing work within a production environment.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• In possession of NEN 3140/3840 certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain it
• In possession of VCA basis or willingness to obtain it
• In possession of forklift certificate/high-lift certificate or willingness to obtain it

• Safe working is self-evident to you, and you actively promote this in your team.
• Flexibility and a solution-oriented attitude are no problem for you.
