Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer Cooperation Form: B2B Start: 01.09.2026 Duration: 12+ months Work Mode: hybrid – 2 days a week from the office Rate: up to 120 PLN/h Project Scope We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a project involving the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of a mobile application and its supporting backend systems. The main tasks will include: designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing test automation, creating automatic functional tests for the mobile application and backend, testing microservices and monoliths, testing REST API and integrations between systems, verifying data in PostgreSQL databases using SQL, testing synchronous and asynchronous communication and queuing systems, particularly Apache Kafka, performing performance tests for the mobile application and backend, analyzing test results and identifying areas requiring improvement, early detection of bugs, anomalies, and edge cases, preparing clear test reports, developing test strategy and improving the QA process, cooperating with IT and product teams, supporting the team in ensuring the quality, stability, security, and reliability of solutions. Requirements Several years of experience in automating tests for mobile applications and backend systems, practical experience in automating mobile application tests, experience in backend testing – microservices and monoliths, mainly in Java, very good knowledge of REST API, experience with PostgreSQL and SQL, experience with Apache Kafka, knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, particularly OAuth2 and tokens, experience in performance testing and interpreting its results, knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript, knowledge of test automation patterns, experience working in an Agile environment, ability to independently identify problems and non-obvious test cases, responsibility for the quality of the end-to-end process.
