Test Application Engineer

Osmosi S.p.A. Agency For Labor Osmosi S.p.A, branch of Seregno, is seeking a Test Application Engineer for an important client company that designs and produces testing systems and solutions to accelerate productivity in the production of electronics, micro-optics, and optoelectronics. The selected resource will be inserted into the Engineering team, developing test sequences and testing automatic systems for functional testing of electronic devices in the automotive and consumer electronics sectors. Specifically, it will deal with: - Receiving and agreeing with the client on test specifications; - Implementing independently the sequence for automatic testing using the company's HW testing platforms; - Optimizing performance; - Validating results by designing diagnostic tests; - Creating test scripts for tuning and benchmark testing; - Correcting any problems; - Updating documentation on development system standards, notes, and software libraries; - Managing any issues relating to the client. Requirements: The candidate must have a technical background, good knowledge of electrical measurements, good mastery of written and spoken English, and ease of use of PC and main computer tools. Necessary skills: Knowledge of National Instruments software environment: TestStand, LabView. Knowledge of common buses and communication protocols (I2C, CAN, Uart, Tcp/Ip...). Good use of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum analyzers, etc. OTHER INFORMATION: working hours: Full Time location of work: Monza (surroundings) Travel availability is required, including long-distance travel. A full-time contract with a metalworking industry collective agreement is expected.
