Terminal Employee

As a Terminal Employee, you will be working daily at the Maasvlakte, where you will perform your tasks. The workday of a Terminal Employee looks like this:

• Connecting and disconnecting Reefer containers;
• Carrying out inspection rounds;
• Checking temperatures of Reefers;
• Performing minor repairs;
• Setting pins.

As a Terminal Employee, you will also be offered good employment conditions, which you can read about below:

• Net travel expenses reimbursement per day, calculated based on 23 cents per kilometer;

To start as a Terminal Employee, it is important that you already have some affinity with the port. This may not be the field you are used to. Below you can read the other job requirements:

• In possession of a VOG (Certificate of Conduct), or the possibility to apply for one;
• A valid VCA-Basic certificate, or willingness to apply for one;
• Driver's license B and your own means of transport;
• Completed MBO (vocational) education (level 2), with a technical or logistics background being a pré.
