Tentative: High School English Teacher

Primary Purpose of the Position The High School English Teacher delivers rigorous, engaging instruction in literature, language, and composition that develops students’ analytical thinking, written and oral communication skills, and appreciation for diverse voices and perspectives. The teacher will also be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student learning, and collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, as well as experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues is essential.
