Tenold Transportation - Owner Operator - Regional BC/AB

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced, Class 1 Owner Operators with heavy-spec tractors to haul Super B, B-Train, and Aspen Double Drop/Lowboy trailers across BC and Alberta. This position requires 3–5 years of commercial driving experience and proven mountain driving experience.

The successful applicant must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Located in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland
  
• Class 1 Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  
• Super B flat deck and double drop/lowboy experience – minimum 2 years required
  
• TDG and Hazwaste knowledge and experience are an asset
  
• Knowledge of HOS and NSC rules and regulations
  
• Clean commercial driver abstract
  
• Have your own WorkSafe BC (WCB) account in good standing
  
• Have verifiable commercial driving experience in highways, mountains and off-road
  
• Can chain up axles and perform all required duties
  
• Have knowledge to properly secure various LTL and TL cargo
  

Your truck will be:

• Heavy spec tractor capable of hauling Super B/B-Train and double drop configurations,
  
• 2015 or newer truck with a sleeper bunk
  
• Equipped with appropriate chains and tie-down equipment for heavy haul operations.
