TEMPORARY SKILLED LABOURER - PUBLIC WORKS (4 Positions) Reporting to: Public Works Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor Department: Public Works Classification: Temporary Full-Time Hours (Maximum 6 months); Unionized Salary Range: $30.72/hour as per Schedule “A” Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting Date: A s soon as possible Application Deadline: Posting will remain open until filled Why City of Woodstock? Key Responsibilities: • Perform a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of public works infrastructure, including but not limited to: o Road construction and maintenance o Water and sewer system maintenance o Stormwater management system maintenance o Snow removal and ice control o Other related tasks as required • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment • Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed • Perform other related duties as required.
