Job Description

  • Independent management of sub-projects in mechanical engineering and support of the project manager

  • Planning of tasks, processes, and resources in close coordination with department management

  • Ensuring that project-specific requirements are implemented in concept design, basic, and detailed engineering

  • Technical coordination with clients and authorities as well as presentation of technical solutions

  • Analysis of target-actual deviations, development of corrective measures, and creation of status reports

  • Interface management and continuous exchange with all project participants, including suppliers

  • Technical support during manufacturing, commissioning, acceptance, and after-sales

  • Participation in the further development of the company's organization, standards, and processes


Profile

  • Completed technical or natural science degree or technician training

  • Relevant professional experience in marine engineering and project management

  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and other 3D CAD programs, as well as good MS Office skills

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken

  • Independent, responsible work ethic, confident demeanor, and assertiveness
