Job description
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Relevant technical experience in providing support for software development project (minimum 1 year on a similar position)
- Studies in the field of IT/TIC and a good understanding of information systems.
- The ability to follow rigorous testing protocols for developed technological components
- Discipline in respecting specific project deadlines, particularly those with European funding.
- Knowledge regarding database configuration and maintenance.
- The ability to quickly identify system or configuration errors and provide technical support to users.
- An interest in new technologies (AI/ML) and industrial research process.
- A team spirit: The ability to collaborate closely with the Technical Director and Programmer for prototype validation.

The position will be occupied within the project „Development and implementation of an innovative interoperability solution”, SMIS 336196.
Main responsibilities:
Under the coordination and supervision of the Technical Director, the TIC Technician (Sysadmin / Infrastructure Support) will provide technical support in:

Under the coordination and supervision of the Technical Director, the TIC Technician (Sysadmin / Infrastructure Support) will provide technical support in:
- Software development process, including design, development, and configuration, as well as result evaluation
- Data collection and analysis, including database modification, if necessary
- Error correction, updating, and modeling of the database (if necessary)
- Techincal troubleshooting of technical/logic issues that may arise during development, including identifying and proposing solutions
- Testing/validation process for prototype components, including testing technological components and integrated systems, as well as pre-commercial demonstration
- Infrastructure support for running and testing AI/ML component
- You will install and operate local infrastructure (on-premise) at the beneficiary's office, according to architecture and technical instructions provided.
- You will ensure daily system monitoring, backup creation, applying necessary updates, and performing routine maintenance work
- Install & operate:
- Linux / Ubuntu Server (administration)
- Docker (runtime)
- Kubernetes (daily operation)
- Network (IP, firewall, VPN)
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Monitoring & logs
- Access & security management
