Job description
You will have an active role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, with an emphasis on technical interventions and direct customer relations.
The activity involves frequent travel to client locations. (Timisoara, Cluj Napoca, Alba Iulia)
Responsibilities
· Performing preventive and corrective maintenance interventions for security and life safety systems;
· Diagnosing and resolving technical malfunctions occurring at client locations;
· Installing, configuring, and commissioning CCTV, access control, intrusion, and fire detection systems;
· Mounting and connecting field equipment: cameras, sensors, readers, control panels, sirens, and other specific equipment;
· Verifying cabling routes, connectorizing, and testing connections;
· Basic configuration of network equipment, including IP addresses, switches, routers, VLANs, and VPN connections;
· Intervening on the IT infrastructure and operational equipment at the client's locations, such as servers, network equipment, terminals, and other equipment specific to the retail environment;
· Collaborating with client support teams to resolve incidents within the timelines established by the SLA;
· Recording interventions in the ticketing system and documenting replaced parts or equipment;
· Preparing intervention reports and material needs;
The Profile We Are Looking For
· Minimum 3 years of practical experience in security systems, low current, maintenance, or technical service;
· Experience in diagnosing and resolving malfunctions;
· Practical knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion, and/or fire detection;
· Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking: IP, switches, routers, VLAN, VPN;
· Ability to work autonomously at client locations;
· Category B driving license and high availability for travel;
· Availability for overtime when interventions require it.
It's an advantage but not a must-have:
· Technical certifications for Hikvision, Honeywell, Bosch, Dahua equipment, or other similar systems;
· IGPR accreditation for security systems technician;
· Experience with ticketing systems and documenting technical interventions.
