Security Systems Technician

You will have an active role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, with a focus on technical interventions and direct customer relations.

The activity involves frequent travel in Bucharest and its surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions, as well as diagnosing and rectifying malfunctions for security and life safety systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion, and fire detection);
• Installing, configuring, mounting, and commissioning security equipment and systems, including cameras, sensors, readers, control panels, sirens, and other specific equipment;
• Verifying and rectifying cabling and network infrastructure, including basic configuration of network equipment (IP, switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs), as well as interventions on the IT infrastructure and operational equipment at client locations;
• Collaborating with client support teams to resolve incidents in accordance with established SLAs and ensuring the proper functioning of systems;
• Documenting and reporting interventions in the ticketing system, including recording replaced equipment and parts, as well as preparing intervention reports and material requirements.

The Profile We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in security systems, low voltage, maintenance, or technical service;
• ARTS Certificate
• Practical knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion, and/or fire detection;
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge: IP, switches, routers, VLAN, VPN;
• Category B driving license and availability for travel;
• Availability for overtime when interventions require it.

It Is an Advantage, but Not Mandatory:

• Technical certifications for Hikvision, Honeywell, Bosch, Dahua equipment, or other similar systems;
