SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Printing, Computing Craiova

We are looking for a Junior SERVICE TECHNICIAN specializing in printers and computers to join our team in the technical department in Craiova. If you have a passion for technology and want to learn as much as possible, an ability to solve technical problems, and a keen eye for detail, then this position might be for you.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of printing equipment and computers.
• Diagnosis and repair of hardware and software malfunctions.
• Ensuring the correct functioning of printing networks and peripheral equipment.
• Performing software and firmware updates according to manufacturer requirements.
• Advising clients on the optimal use of technical equipment.
• Performing maintenance of hardware equipment (printers and copiers, mainly).
• Providing service for equipment such as printers, copiers, multifunction devices, plotters, computers, etc.
• Managing customer product warranties within set parameters.
• Handling documents specific to the department's activities.

To fit in with the Mida Soft Business Team, it helps to have basic knowledge about:

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration of printers, copiers, multifunction devices, fax machines, and plotters, both laser and inkjet;
• Installation, configuration, diagnosis, and repair of office equipment, such as PCs, printers, copiers, multifunction devices, plotters, fax machines, PC system repairs and configuration, network equipment configuration (routers, etc.).
• PC operation skills, including MS Office;
• Intermediate knowledge of the English language;
• Category B driving license.

In this regard, regarding studies and experience, the requirements are:

• Must have graduated from a school/educational institution - vocational/higher technical studies, in the field;
• Relevant experience (+1 year) in the field, specifically in a similar role.
• Availability for constant travel in the counties of: Dolj, Mehedinti, Olt, and Gorj
