Network Technician

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring internet connections and access;

• Monitoring servers (headquarters router, mail, domain, monitoring, web, databases);

• Performing and verifying backups for workstations and servers/installing new servers;

• User administration for company employees;

• Checking network equipment to prevent malfunctions;

• Ensuring data connections; configuring equipment and the network for them;

• Configuring the VPN network for optimal operation;

• Knowledge of using Active Directory;

• Basic knowledge of SQL and graphical administration interface (phpmyadmin).

Requirements:

• Specific knowledge in administering WINDOWS operating systems for servers and workstations;

• Knowledge of using MICROSOFT products (WINDOWS, OFFICE);

• Solid networking knowledge (VPN, Firewall, Routing);

• Oral and written communication skills in English are an advantage.
