Design Technician

For one of our clients, a stable company with extensive market experience and involved in interesting and diverse projects, we are recruiting a Design Technician to join the design department team.

We are looking for a person with a technical profile, attentive to details, and solution-oriented, who wishes to be involved in projects from the concept stage to their implementation in production.

• Analyzes special customer requests received from the sales department and establishes the technical criteria necessary for their realization;
• Creates detailed technical drawings based on requests, sketches, and received photographs;
• Provides technical support for the sales team and for the departments with which it collaborates;
• Writes individual programs for specific requirements and projects, ensuring their translation into a format usable by production equipment;
• Verifies the accuracy of drawings and sketches used on machinery and gives approval for their execution;
• Monitors compliance with technological prescriptions throughout the manufacturing process;
• Collaborates with the IT department for the creation, standardization, and optimization of programs used in the technological and production process;
• Identifies and resolves problems that arise in the production process, within the limits of competence and responsibilities;
• In case of a technical malfunction, notifies the persons responsible for maintenance for its repair as soon as possible;
• Tests and validates new technologies to be introduced on existing machinery;
• Translates projects into sample-type parts, for the purpose of testing and accepting new models;
• Contributes to the creation and design of new products, according to market requirements and international trends;
• Creates 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD;
• Develops new products, from defining the raw materials used to technological solutions and their implementation in production;
• Monitors and provides support for the realization of prototypes for new parts;
• Periodically presents project stages and status to management, from initial phases to production implementation;
• Carries out technical and technological documentation for all project stages.

• Technician diploma or equivalent studies;
• Experience in technical design or a similar field;
• Design knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD;
• Knowledge of technical drawing and the ability to create and interpret technical drawings;
• Attention to detail and rigor;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Proactive attitude and solution orientation;
• Knowledge and experience in the field of engineering are an advantage.
