General Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Performs corrective maintenance work on machines/equipment/peripherals and auxiliary installations;
• Performs preventive maintenance work on machines/equipment/peripherals and auxiliary installations according to planning;
• Carries out quality and efficient activities;
• Participates in the installation of new equipment or moving existing ones;
• Executes maintenance/arrangement work on buildings and exterior spaces;
• Determines (in a multidisciplinary team) the cause of machine/equipment/peripheral and auxiliary installation failures;
• Participates in department meetings and analysis sessions;
• Documents defects in a database;
• Documents own activity in specific forms for activities carried out;
• Identifies and manages spare parts inventory;
• Is responsible for tools, equipment, appliances, devices, and utensils in custody;
• Brings ideas to improve processes in which they are involved;
• Participates proactively in TPM activities carried out at Oechsler Ro;
• Participates proactively in implementing OPEX at the Oechsler Romania location;
• Applies and respects 5S principles at work.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role or technical field;
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and electronics;
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team;
• Pays attention to details and is oriented towards high-quality results.
