Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in an industrial environment, passionate about the technical side, with analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and remedy malfunctions, contributing to the efficient operation of production equipment and technical systems.

What will you do concretely?

• You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance work for industrial machinery, installations, and equipment;
• You will diagnose and remedy mechanical and electrical malfunctions in engines, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, transmissions, and other components;
• You will check and intervene on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, identifying pressure losses, blockages, and other anomalies;
• You will interpret alarms and error codes for PLC, HMI, and frequency converters (VFD), checking sensors, I/O signals, and control components, within the scope of your competence;
• You will identify and analyze the causes of recurring malfunctions and propose solutions for their prevention;
• You will perform functional tests after interventions and verify equipment before putting it back into operation;
• You will document the work performed and collaborate with the Production and Technical teams to reduce unplanned downtime;
• You will adhere to safety procedures, including LOTO, as well as applicable food hygiene and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial maintenance and a good understanding of machinery operation;
• Practical knowledge of mechanics and electricity;
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation, depending on your specialization;
• Ability to read technical diagrams and use measuring and diagnostic tools;
• Logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly identify the causes of malfunctions;
• Autonomy, responsibility, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Adherence to security rules and technical procedures, regardless of production pressure;
• Specific authorizations are required where legislation and the nature of interventions so mandate.
