Maintenance Technician

Job Requirements:

• Verify the status of production equipment, infrastructure, and related equipment according to the maintenance plan;
• Complete documents (physical/electronic) associated with activities performed correctly and on time;
• Ensure that equipment and installation interruptions are minimized and detect defects and repair them within the allotted time;
• Identify causes of defects and propose solutions or suggest improvements to maintenance methods;
• Realize the need for procurement (inventory of spare parts and materials) respecting internal company policies;
• Ensure that systems and security equipment function in accordance with safety norms;
• Validate technical activities executed by external organizations;
• Respond promptly to requests from production or office areas (support);
• Perform all maintenance activities for installations and equipment within defined time and quality parameters, respecting all work safety rules;
• Respond to equipment breakdowns (regardless of defect nature), perform critical repairs, evaluate and report damages;
• Use technical documentation for equipment during medium and complex interventions;
• Ensure that all production elements and infrastructure are maintained in a qualitative and rapid manner to enable optimal process execution;

Unfulfilled Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field;
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, mechanics, and hydraulics;
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair, ultrasonic welding or casting represents an advantage;
• Interpretation of technical drawings and electrical schemes;
• Knowledge of operating Office programs;
• Moderate knowledge of the English language; German is a plus;
• Availability for work shifts;
• On-call availability;
• Flexibility in thinking;
• Imagination and ability to find innovative solutions;
• Professional integrity and efficiency;
• Respect for all internal company rules and safety regulations;
• Predisposition to change and evolution;
