Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Description:

Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment. Intervenes in case of possible malfunctions to maintain the smooth functioning of the factory's production process.
Ensures the functioning, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems and guarantees a high level of the “machine availability” indicator, as a result of technical experience and skill in working with technical systems.

Candidate Profile:

- Performs and records preventive maintenance operations in accordance with maintenance standards.
- May be involved in preparing operations (lifting spare parts, tool availability, work safety checks, etc.).
- Proposes new methods/ways to reduce the standard planned time of operations and the scheduling of planned operations.
- May be requested for corrective activities, in which case they investigate malfunctions and develop a diagnosis by using appropriate tools/devices, by questioning the machine operator.
- Participates in the analysis of defect causes and proposes actions for their elimination.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Vocational School/High School, Electrical profile;
• Relevant work experience of at least 24 months in industrial equipment maintenance;
• Good knowledge in interpreting and understanding electrical schematics;
• Knowledge of using multimeters (voltmeter, ohmmeter, etc.);
• Basic knowledge of automation, pneumatics, and hydraulics;
• Basic knowledge in working with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and VFDs (variable frequency drives)
• Competencies in performing tests and repairs of electrical systems;
• Skills in using specialized electrical and testing equipment;
• PC operation knowledge (Word, Excel);
• SAP operation knowledge is an advantage.
