A Day in Your Life at MKS:
Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment and installations, ensuring their optimal and continuous operation. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults, as well as performing interventions on control systems and industrial automation equipment, while complying with safety standards and technical procedures.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process, along with equipment software and hardware systems
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
Skills You Bring:
• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
• 2+ years of related experience required
• May require experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
• Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [INSERT] pounds
