Mechanic Technician

Ideal Candidate

Is responsible for ensuring the good functioning of production line equipment.

Verifies daily, in accordance with procedure (at the beginning and during work hours or whenever necessary), the technical state of production equipment and records it in

Performs urgent repairs, upon request from the production coordinator or operator;

Maintains production equipment mechanically, in accordance with technical specifications provided by manufacturers;

Performs reviews and repairs under the guidance of Technical Coordinator, according to plan

Responds positively to requests from superiors for ensuring and improving equipment function and department efficiency, as well as for improving and optimizing processes

Collaborates with production line operators and coordinators for interventions

Notifies the operator and direct supervisor after defect repair and ensures that the production line functions within parameters provided by manufacturers;

In the absence of the direct supervisor, acts in accordance with priorities established by the production coordinator

Avoids any work accidents or equipment damage;

In case of power outages, verifies equipment and installation status, cooperates with electricians and operators to put equipment back into operation or repair it;

Supports colleagues in the technical department to resolve defects and put equipment back into operation;

Participates in installing and putting equipment into operation.

Additionally, participates in training programs to understand equipment function, exploitation, and maintenance;

Maintains records of the Technical Department: maintenance files, technical files for equipment, consumption vouchers

Suggests solutions for improving installation and equipment function, as well as reducing water and electricity consumption.

Job Requirements

• Has the authority to stop machines/equipment due to technical reasons and work/safety concerns, with notification of the Production Coordinator and superiors
• Supports in implementing maintenance procedures, maintenance files, and tracking defects for each equipment part, as well as various documents requested
• Assists in establishing a maintenance schedule and repair plan
• Tech studies – mechanical profile
• Experience in technical field and industrial production environment with complex equipment
• Communication skills with department colleagues and other departments
