Junior IT Technician

Provides assistance to colleagues with day-to-day IT issues and participates in networking tasks in offices and the factory. Learns alongside the IT team and gradually takes on tasks that can be resolved independently, based on training and accumulated experience.

·        Receives requests from colleagues and helps resolve common issues with computers, applications, printers, and other peripherals.

·        Provides support for Windows, email, Teams, and other applications used within the company.

·        Checks simple network or internet connection problems and asks for help when needed.

·        Assists in preparing computers, installing approved applications, and connecting peripherals.

·        Participates in the inventory, handover, and taking back of IT equipment.

·        Assists users with authentication and password resets, after training and according to internal procedures.

·        Participates in laying, organizing, and labeling network cables.

·        Learns and performs, under guidance, crimping, connecting data jacks and patch panels, and cable testing.

·        Assists in mounting and connecting switches and Wi-Fi access points, as well as basic configurations, under the guidance of the IT team.

·        Maintains order of cables and connections in racks.

·        Records requests and briefly notes what was checked and how the problem was resolved.

·        Keeps users informed and relays problems to the IT team for which support is needed.

·        Participates in training, follows instructions received, and reports any errors.

The activity takes place in offices and the factory and includes practical interventions on cables and equipment. Some work involves using a ladder and working at height, after training, with appropriate equipment, and in compliance with safety rules.

Works within the limits of access and assigned tasks. Interventions that may affect the network, servers, or factory operations are performed only with the approval and guidance of the responsible person.

Initially, the focus is on learning about equipment and procedures and resolving simple tasks together with a colleague. As they learn, they will handle common requests with occasional support. The pace will adapt to their progress.

During evaluation, we will assess seriousness, willingness to learn, communication with users, care for equipment, and adherence to work rules. Progress and the ability to ask for help in time are important; they are not expected to know or solve everything from the start.

We are looking for a person at the beginning of their IT career, curious, practical, and eager to learn. Previous professional experience is not required. We offer training and support from the IT team.

·        Interest in computers and basic knowledge of Windows, applications, and PC components.

·        Patience and clear communication when interacting with colleagues who need help.

·        Seriousness, attention to detail, and willingness to ask when something is unclear.

·        Availability for practical work in offices and the factory, including cabling and equipment installation.

·        Ability to work comfortably on a ladder and at height, under established safety conditions.

·        Adherence to work instructions, safety regulations, and information confidentiality.

·        English for understanding error messages and technical instructions.

·        Practical experience from personal projects or from helping others with IT issues.

·        Familiarity with Windows installation, Microsoft 365 applications, or networking basics.

·        Experience with cable crimping, data jacks, cable testers, or network equipment installation.

These skills can also be acquired on the job. We do not require certifications for this role.
