Caterpillar Equipment Technician

Bergerat Monnoyeur, the Caterpillar dealer in Romania, is hiring an Electromechanical Technician for field interventions. The position is within the Caterpillar machinery division. For this position, we are recruiting in the areas of Bucharest, Timisoara, Galati, Brasov, and Piatra Neamt. Residence can be in the aforementioned cities or in nearby localities. For field service activities, the company provides a service car.

Requirements:
Technical secondary education in specialization (electromechanics, industrial mechanics);
Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity/electronics, and hydraulics – for the machinery division;
Minimum 2 years of experience in the electromechanical field;
PC operating skills (Word, Excel, and specific programs);
Basic knowledge of English – technical domain;
Punctuality, adaptability, and initiative;
Customer-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and rigor;
Good organizational skills;
Category B driving license;
Availability for travel within the assigned area;
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities:
Performs repair, revision, and maintenance activities of machinery at the client's premises;
Diagnoses the technical condition and performs anomaly analyses;
Identifies the spare parts needed for interventions;
Carries out commissioning and expert assessments;
Prepares electronic intervention reports;
Uses technical documentation and diagnostic tools;
Maintains a good relationship with clients.
